Light, but uncomfortable
2 of 2 found this helpful This stand is exactly what it claims to be, the lightest stand you can buy. If your goal is to buy a stand that is easy to pack deep into the woods with ease, then this is the perfect stand.
But if your goal is to buy a stand that you can use to easily ascend a tree and comfortably sit for hours waiting for the perfect shot, avoid this one.
One of the challenges in hunting is removing reasons to end the hunt early. This stand is one of the more difficult units to climb because of the tension bars. When you tilt the seat or bottom platform to climb the tree, the tension bars flex out, keeping the cables tight against the back side of the tree. This causes it to get hung up on every knot/bump as you climb and descend.
So you finally fight your way up the tree, and now you have to sit on a small triangle shaped seat for hours. No back, no sides, nothing to make your sit comfortable and feel secure 25' up the tree, and everything to make you think you are ready to get down and go home.
I didn't realize how uncomfortable this stand was until I used a Summit. Can't believe that I lived with this one as long as I did. For me, the hours you spend sitting in the stand in comfort after easily climbing the tree far out weigh a few extra pounds of weight on the way in.
Hunting is about learning what works for you. In the end, I regretted this purchase.

Check Your Photos From Your Tree Stand
This is the most convenient trail camera I've ever owned. I never have to pull cards and download the images/videos. I just walk to me stand, and check, download, view and delete right from my phone. You can also use your phone during setup to adjust the angle of the camera.
I did have an issue with the mounting bracket. It seems like a good design, but I couldn't get it to hold securely. It is almost like they made it too complicated with too many pieces. I just swapped it out for a standard screw-in kind. I deducted one star for that. Other than that, I highly recommended. I will be buying another.
