Great Device - Completes Ipad ownership experience.
Ipads are designed to be media consuming devices, but these keyboards allow you to turn the Ipad into a media authoring device (albeit for writing). If you are flying, you can use it hold the ipad while you watch a video or you can do some writing.
Brydge keyboards are great. They serve as a stand, they use tension, so do not need something to hold your ipaq up. The quality is good. I'm probably on my fifth one. I gave one away, two others I accidently sat on when I left them on my bed and didn't notice it there as I went to sit, and the keys eventually fell off. The fourth one lasted forever. I recently bought a new, bigger Ipad so I bought my fifth one.
One time, I left my ipad on the roof of my car while I was helping my mother get in the car, then forgot I left it there. We drove off, and it fell on the pavement and later I came back and found it, and the keyboard was working fine as was the Ipad - so it's fairly good. I finally broke my ipad after 7 years by getting water on it.
You can charge the keyboard once and it is good for months. Its got a big battery in it and that does make it heavy. My ipad weighs almost nothing but the keyboard ways a couple of pounds.
