Excellent Early Insight on Native American Life
As a History Student and Major, my professors stressed the importance of going to source material to truly understand what happened, and the motives for such. Books like these, which reproduce Early American History are almost as good as the original books themselves, and in some cases better as the older ones sometimes have damage that detracts from their enjoyment and comprehension. Great value and seller

    Great Study of Real Indians
With so much revisionist history polluting the reading environment now, it is important that we follow the well established advice to read eye witness accounts if you really want to know what happened. Just like in court, a credible eye witness testimony is worth more than speculations from self-titled experts. Here are the accounts of the very earliest French explorers of the Great Lakes region writing about what they are witnessing when meeting and living with the Indians of that era. Eye opening and compelling in its honesty and descriptions. Warning: If you are one who prefers the later day romanticized versions of the Indian as an innocent child of nature, in tune with the universe and his surroundings, and unfairly attacked and exterminated by white aggressors you will be disturbed. If it were your brains being bashed out by a tomahawk smashing gang of Indian warriors then you might begin to understand the complexity of the true issue.
