Great Product - Reliable.
I use to listen to bulky desktop shortwave radios with antennas in the 80's and bought this one 30 years ago when I worked overseas. It was a great product with comparable performance and easier to use shortwave with digital tuning. Last week I dug it out of the closet during the wildfire power outages in California, removed the corroded batteries, sanded down the contacts, fresh batteries and it fired right up. Not as many shortwave stations out there these days but an all round good portable emergency AM/FM radio. The cloth carrying case if included is very practical especially if traveling in the tropics as it blocks moisture, and the radio can play through it. I bought mine overseas and it had dual 120/240 charger - not sure of the US models. Note: I did not rate it easy to use as "high" because you have to select a "band" then type in a frequency and press execute - they were targeting shortwave users or non U users accustom to doing this.
