A brighter, fresh sound from a well-known classic.
Wow. I must have played the original thousands of times; this fresh new rendering of a rock 'n roll classic offers something slightly different everywhere. And while there may have been the temptation to muck with the basics, all the bones remain there. A great addition to this Boomer's collection.

Refreshing and substantial
2 of 3 found this helpful While the producer (and son of George Martin) Giles Martin says he remixed this album to appeal to newer ears, this boomer finds the reissue a breath of fresh air. Discerning ears can detect he slight differences between the original and the new. In reducing he original's compression and sweetening some new takes, Martin has created something new from the familiar. The album is a delight, and at 180-grams, the LPs are as substantial as the music imprinted upon it. Also, including reprints of the original artwork just adds to the fun!
