Outstanding and under-rated.
There are a number of great tracks highlighting the talents of guitarist Bob Welch and keyboard player Christine McVie including Bright Fire, Remember Me, Night Watch and Did You Ever Love Me that many Fleetwood Mac fans may be unaware of since this CD came out years before the band hit its stride and achieved commercial success. I think the Bob Welch years prior to the addition of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks produced some of the band's greatest work, that unfortunately was under-recognized and Penguin is a shining example of this outstanding period of musical achievement.
