This Gear Saved My LaserJet 4L Printer!
I was ready to toss my broken LaserJet 4L printer that we've owned since 1991 when I happened across a YouTube video that described my problem and the fix...this $8 gear. It took me about 30 minutes to replace and the printer's working great now. Note-this printer uses an old style big print cartridge that lasts for about 10 years with our moderate usage, and the print cartridges are down in price now since most of the printers are out of circulation.
