AWESOME
These are really well made and sound amazing. Well worth the money and really added dimension to my set and sound. Awesome for effects and accents. They tune really easily and the hardware is super sturdy. All in all great value. I know that the Tama octobans are way more expensive and although I’ve never played them I wouldn’t spend all that extra money when these sound the way they do. If you’re flirting with the idea of adding these to your kit... go for it. They are dope.

Classic, durable, consistent...G2s
Evans G2 are classic go-to heads for hard rock, metal, etc. They are always easy to tune, durable, and consistent. I used to like remo heads, but recently I have been getting bad heads from them, so I decided to stick with Evans, and I am going to continue to stick with Evans. Remo control dot came unglued on one head and I busted the center out of the control dot on the next. I was pissed. I am not that hard of a hitter, and it has never happened with Evans heads, so I think Remo is just not for me anymore. Evans has come through every time with great heads. I love their power center reverse dot and G1 for the snare. I switch back and forth. I love their G2s for the batter and G1s for the reso. Classic combination that always sounds great for the type of music I am playing. Evans is worth the money and G2s are my preferred head.

Good sticks
The green grip on them has been tearing my hands up. I haven’t had blisters since I was 8 until now. But that being said, they are nice. I haven’t dropped one of them yet so that’s where the grip comes in handy. And they have a nice feel.
