An Indie Legend Strikes Again
So this is what Bob was doing instead of GBV or solo work for awhile. This is the first one of the Spaceships records I have heard, and the consensus is that all the others are superior--which means I am now obligated to buy up the rest, since this is an excellent album. There is nothing here that is going to convince the unconvinced, however, it is more focused than most of his solo work and a good deal of what GBV released. It's very much its own thing, equal parts parts prog experimentalism and chord driven power pop, expertly blended by musical barkeep extraordinaire Bob Pollard. The Voices are back, and it's awesome, but you know what? Boston Spaceships are welcome in my record library anytime.

Essential for Owens fans
This material is unheard by most Buck Owens fans, and is dismissed as lackluster by a lot of reviewers. I say no. He's mining a different vein in these recordings, but if you are a fan of the classic Nashville sounds of the likes of Jones, Twitty, and Wagoner this will suit you.
Prices vary wildly. Bargain shop this one and be patient. New price was 34.98.
This a Rhino Handmade release, very high quality.
42 songs, all excellent, and almost certainly new to most listeners. What isn't to like?

Great Game, Great Setting.
This shouldn't be better than the last three editions of Dungeons and Dragons, but it is. This is probably where D&D should have gone after 2nd faded out. Don't blow 150 bucks on the 5E Core, just pick this up and get going.
