My Life in France by Julia Child and Alex Prud'homme (2006, Hardcover)

So informative and endearing.

For whatever reason(s), I have been drawn to and fascinated by Julia (and Paul) Child ever since watching the movie "Julie and Julia". This book confirms and elaborates on what I learned earlier. Very enjoyable and something I will display proudly on my coffee table along with "France is a Feast", which showcased Paul's photography. I highly recommend both books to Child admirers!

Haunting melodies.

The first time I watched the movie, I loved the introductory song. I think the entire score is beautiful and complements the movie well, but that first song plays in my head often.

Great fun.

Lots of spoofs of old westerns -- great fun. I believe this world needs more silly. I love a good dose of silly sometimes and this filled the bill. I grin even just thinking about watching it.
