Not a "remastered" CD
I bought this CD believing that this was a remastered work of the original 1974 release. There is no indication whatsoever in the packaging that this is indeed a remaster. It is a 1999 re-release, but it has not been remastered and sounds identical to the original.

Outstanding clarity from my new center channel speaker!
Great center channel speaker at a superb price! Clearly factory reconditioned and in perfectly new condition. I was using an old Polk VM20 speaker for the center and could not adjust the sound enough to consistently make out voices when listening to movies. Very muddy and frustrating. This speaker clearly and crisply recreates voices with such diction and clarity that we never miss a word anymore. The folded motion tweeter is outstanding at optimizing clarity. Thank you, Safe and Sound, for making me a believer in reconditioned products. I have never purchased a reconditioned product before now but I won’t hesitate again! Love Martin Logan products and now have several, including the incomparable Montis electrostatics, this Motion 8i gem, an older Fresco pair, and a Motion slm xl that I use as a center for another setup. All are outstanding.

Exact replacement
Detector is an exact fit for my class A. Recent manufacture date! Thank you. Works fine so far. Price too high, but low supply drives that.
