Nice Can Opener
I decided to take a chance on a new take at an old concept. I have never used one of these before. I really like it. I am very glad I took the chance.

I like Generation 5.5 better than the newer iPod
I like the look and feel of the older Generation 5 iPod better than the newer Generation 6 versions. It is just simple and straight forward. It works, it is easy on the eyes, and is simple to understand. The newer version has too much video crap going on, and it is hard to read the songs in the lists.
I have a newer 120GB iPod Classic and I hunted down this older 80GB iPod Video so I could go back to the Generation 5 features and displays. I'll put the new one in the car and hook it to the iPod control on the car stereo and stuff it in the glove box.
Come on Apple -- a busier display and interface isn't a better one. Simplicity and an intuitive user interface is what you do best -- don't loose site of the reason you own the market.
