Great device - as long as base is updated and wifi is strong
1 of 1 found this helpful No fault of the camera but set up was a bit tricky. We had to update our simplisafe base x 2 as we didn’t have it on the newest firmware. Then we had to update the camera. Then some issues because the wifi is a bit tricky for outdoor use. Our house is 4000 sq foot and camera was on garage at furthest point from router. We purchased a plug-in wifi signal booster from Amazon and now it works much better. Still a bit glitchy connectivity wise but on any home smaller than ours and in closer proximity to router it would work like a charm.
