After wasting $165.00 my opinion is if you want a player for a MacBook Pro, then spend hours, even days researching and shopping.

Will not work with a MacBook Pro. LG recommended player software was useless. I paid $50.00 to DVDFAB for a software player produced for Mac,,that recommended this Model of LG Blu-ray DVD writer player. Nothing has worked.
