Fundamentals of Sleep Technology
Since I am a student in Polysomnography, this book was recommended by my teacher.
I really like it, because the book has many different chapters which explain the
principles and knowledge a polysomnographic technologist should know.
It also contains sections on symptoms and causes on sleep disorders, how to prepare patients for recording procedures. Chapters on pediatric sleep disorders, how to manage a sleep center, positive airway pressure, surgical and pharmacologic treatments, how educate patients, etc.
This book has 75 Chapters. IT is a great resource to prepare for the board registry. HIGHLY recommended!
