Canon EF-S 55-250mm Lens great for everyday use
1 of 1 found this helpful This lens is very light and has a great range of focus. It is a great all around lens for everyday use, like portraits, in-door shots, animals and landscape. Very affordable and must have for basic photography. This products gets top ratings at consumerreports.org.
However, not great for fast sports action. Has trouble staying focused on the correct subject when there is lots of movement by multiple subjects. However most sports photographers have a heavier, more expensive lens for that anyhow.
