Works out of the box. I have it installed in a HP DL380p on running Unraid using internal 24 disks as cache pool. This card is used to connect a Netapp DS4246 filled with 24 drives to Unraid disk array.

Works out of the box.
Works out of the box. I have it running in a Dell 710 on a Proxmox single bootable disk and rest of the disks and SSD cache in ZFS pool. You do have to modify the controller to select a bootable disk if booting off the controller. Card does not run hot inside this server. I am assuming because unlike white box built servers this server is designed with high efficient air flow across the entire server front to rear.
