Gorgeous Illustrations - Best edition for reading aloud
I've loved J.M. Barrie's classic for years. Now that I'm reading it aloud to my kids, I'm so glad I got this edition with Scott Gustafson's gorgeous illustrations. I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to the classics, and never thought I'd want anything but the original illustrations. However, the original doesn't have many illustrations and pictures are very important to my 5 year old in any book we're reading. I'm glad I looked into getting an edition that's better for reading aloud. This is the one.

Makes it easy to start talking about sex in an age-appropriate way
Excellent book. I never thought I'd be able to have these conversations with my 5 year old, but the book makes it so easy. He is totally fascinated and keeps coming back to it. His favorite part is The Big Swim. This book is the perfect way to get the sex conversation started in an age-appropriate way.
