Quality clock and fun to build
This kit by Velleman reflects the superior quality of all products made by this Belgium company. The kit components are of high quality and the assembly instructions are clear and in English! The kit assembly was straight forward and it all fit into a nice plastic enclosure. It was nice that the clock setup allows a 12 or 24 hour format.
Virtually all digital clock kits made in China only provide a 24 hour military time format. Also, Chinese electronic kits in general either have very limited or no assembly guides or if they do, the broken English is very poor and hard to understand. It amazes me that a country with such a large population cannot produce products that include information written in clear basic English. I speak from experience because I have purchased several Chinese electronic kits and if it were not for an American providing assembly instructions on YouTube I might not have completed them.
This is why it is so refreshing to have a company like Velleman produce a quality product written in concise English. Velleman kits are generally more expensive than Chinese kits but are well worth it!

Only way to go
This power distribution board by Miller Engineering is by far the best product of its kind in regard to model railroading that I know of. I use several of these boards on my layout to distribute track power to the rails everywhere it is needed. Of course many hobbyists use the boards to furnish auxiliary power to lights, signs and other areas where a power source is needed. With the simple red and black color connectors, its easy to install, change or maintain power to the layout. Without question this item is well worth the price.

Can't Beat It For The Price
This HO Scale GP38-2 diesel locomotive by MTH turns out to be a very excellent value. The locomotive details are a bit less than their top of the line locos but have enough detail to satisfy most hobby model train enthusiasts. It basically comes factory equipped with the same excellent chassis and motor and the very nice Proto Sound 3.0 decoder. I especially like the front green and rear red marker lights. This feature is very rare in locomotives this size by any manufacturer. Having DCC and Sound puts this model train far ahead of it's competition at this price point. Well done MTH!
