Finally i am satisfied with a red brake light!
After testing various red tail/brake lights, i am keeping these installed. Others are not as bright, and especially bad is that you can barely notice when breaks are applied: the increase in brightness from brakes is close to nothing. Not in this one: brake light is not blindingly bright, but it does show a noticeable difference, and coupled with a "3rd" brake light (the one up in the rear windshield), the effect is totally ok.
White leds are typically much more powerful than red, and the red ones struggle to reach high intensities. I wanted red because the color is deeper than what the colored glass filter provides. Finally i am satisfied with a red brake light!
I haven't had them long enough to speak about longevity.

Just the right thing
Very good front position light. Much brighter than regular position lights, not as bright as to blind other drivers. Just the right thing.
