8 and 9 inch
I spend over a month doing dormant pruning for clients. With that comes hundreds upon thousands of cuts in a season. I've used felco 2's for years and had lots of success.
Then I bought okatsune and purchased both sizes of those and really like them. Great cutting pruners there!
Bought the ARS in 9 inch for this season. After a few days with no arthritic pain or blisters I purchased the smaller ones to try out as well. They fit your hands a bit better if you don't have large hands.
You can definitely cut a bigger branch with the 9 inch over the 8 inch, but when attempting larger cuts you need to be square with branch or it will stick and you need to cut it again to get through. I usually just use my hand saw to take on branches over an inch so this doesn't bother me at all. They cut fast and smooth as long as you don't try to cut a branch that is better left sawed.
All in all, they are now my go to pruners for dormant season pruning! Great job!
