Good Cans, good price
2 of 2 found this helpful These are the second pair of headphones that I have fallen in love with. The first pair was my Sennheiser PX100 that I bought around 5 years ago and still enjoy. I've been looking to upgrade to a pair of good studio monitor headphones for a few months now, and after I heard the name Beyerdynamic tossed around several times in one week, I decided to jump in and grab a pair.
They sound absolutely breath-taking. If you buy them at full cost they are a much better bang-for-the-buck than even the $400 Monster Beats, and easily on par with higher-end sennheisers.
As can be seen at HeadRoom's website, their frequency response curve is fairly flat, giving some good bass that doesn't completely drown out the mids and highs. Contrast that with the "Beats", you'll see that the "Beats" will sound muffled and boomy, with not nearly the accuracy: http://graphs.headphone.com/graphCompare.php?graphType=0&graphID[]=713&graphID[]=1443
As an aside: I still love Monster as a company. They make great speaker wire, and they stand behind their warranty on their wonderful surge protectors. But I will take the Beyerdynamics any day over similarly price "popular" headphones.

Great wireless keyboard with a battery-free experience.
It's easy to set up, the typing is smooth and I don't have to worry about batteries. I already own the bluetooth (mac) version, which I keep under a desk in a keyboard tray. That one never loses power, so I'm pretty sure this one that I'm using at the office isn't going to lose power any time soon either.
