For a small and occasional usage - acceptable.

It's good enough for 1 SMALL gun and MAYBE a magazine. While picture depicts a 1911, the best you could fit in is a smallish CCW. Also the snapping ledges are part of the lid, and most likely will not hold for a long time. But if you don't intend to use it frequent, and only need this as a holding case for one of your weapons, it's appropriate.
