There are a couple of pieces missing (which were disclosed in the listing) and the seller even included a note in the package with information for how to go about replacing the pieces. Wonderful Resource, Still Immensely Relevant and Worth Every Penny
An indispensable resource for anyone in the field of geology. More often than not, all the information I need for Mineralogy Homework is right here in this book, not just accessible, but clearly written and with helpful diagrams. There are several indices, allowing you to look things up based on different criteria. You can search for a subject, a specific mineral, or use the properties of the mineral to identify it. There are tables, diagrams, illustrations, you name it. The material can be rather dense, lots of technical terms and such, but overall it has made my studies much easier and provided more reliable information than the online textbooks I am often referred to. I know that I will continue to use this book for many years to come.
