Arris 822A Docsis 3.0 Modem
5 of 5 found this helpful Good value for money. Sent via 3 day Priority USPS. Nice to have an extra Ethernet cable as the release clip tends to snap off. Another bonus is the internal power adapter avoiding the clunky power brick.
Cablevision Optimum website has an older webpage which specified that only the 822G model is compatible. The newer webpage for compatible modems stated only "Arris 822" without mentioning A or G model.
Two observations from the Optimum technician: 1) any Docsis 3.0 modem is compatible, 2) Arris 822 (both A & G) very reliable, requiring few replacements.
