My Honest Opinion
I hate war. This sheds light to what occured to my grandpa. He served in WWII, and was brainwashed by films and the radio shows back then to enlist in the Army. His best friend winded up dying right beside him. Then, following the war, after being told that they'll all be remembered and treated like heroes, they were thrown in the trash by the United States. My grandpa was treated just as badly as modern veterans are. After they've been of service, good riddance to them.
FDR lied to the United States to get us in WWII. There is no doubt about that. Not to mention the concentration camps that we call internment camps here, and the fact that every hateful idea articulated by the National Socialists, including eugenics and gas chambers, came straight from the United States. Then, FDR's successor, Truman, unleashed a bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Unforgivable. Men, women, and children, killed. Suffering from birth defects. We wrote the Constitutions of Italy, Japan, and Germany, to benefit the United States. We destroyed Japanese society, and made sure Japan didn't have a military.
That is my opinion of WWII. The book is good at articulating what I just said. That we had no business at all for entering WWII.

One Wee Problem. Other than that, terrific
Liked the product. My only complaint is that the story is hard to keep up with because the characters don't look completely like they do on the telly.

My Honest Opinion
It puts the Gospel into action. Most writers want to put the Gospel solely into words. Our Lord summarized the Ten Commandments when He to us to love God with all our hearts and souls and to love our neighbour as ourselves. The first three commandments are our duty to God, while the last seven are our duty to each other.
I say the above to make clear that doctrine as defined by the Bible and the Ecumenical Councils is the most important aspect in a Church. But it is not the only thing that should be formulated. The Church should try to fix problems in our community, such as racism, poverty, prison conditions, police brutality, and etc.
Just letting anyone know who reads this, that I support Biblical inerrancy, and in those places where a socially conservative Christian cannot agree, I don't agree. But in areas that I mentioned in the previous paragraph, I solidly stand on the side of social justice.
