Good coarse stone
A good low grit stone to remove chips and flaws in the edge, cheap and reliable. Recommended!

An excellent whetstone!
This is my go-to stone when sharpening my knives. Great tactile feedback and quickly creates a burr.
Nothing negative to say about it, but can be a bit pricey depending on your budget.
