Nikon Coolpix S4100, your average camera of today (2012)
3 of 4 found this helpful The Nikon Coolpix S4100 is an average camera. It takes amazing video, it is great quality for a handheld camera, and the light settings allows for you to take photos in the dark or in great light contrast. It does not do as well taking videos in dim light. Zoom is good, but pictures can become somewhat grainy and blurry if the zoom is close to being maxxed.
For a handheld camera, it is quite good, however changing the settings and becoming accustomed to the camera is more difficult than other cameras. It's been 4 months since I bought the camera, and I still have trouble with the camera at times.
The camera is on the Approved list for IStopMotion, but despite hours of trying, it will not connect to IStopMotion. If you are going to buy the camera for use with an animation program, do not buy this camera.

Nintendo DS Lite Review
The Nintendo DS Lite, Onyx Black Handheld System is great, because there are a myriad of games to play on the Nintendo DS. Although newer versions of the system have already arrived, many new games for the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo DS Lite are still being developed. Gameplay is fairly easy for most games, and can be figured out by smaller children. However, for very small children just starting with video games, the DS may be a bit overwhelming.
Overall, the Nintendo DS Lite is a good product, and unless you are careless, you should have years of use out of it.

Fantastic Foam Fillet-er From my Favorite Foam Factory
Love this foam cutter! It's very easy to carve whatever shapes I desire. I was using a Woodland Scenics cutter before it broke and I ordered one of these. Cuts much faster because of the thicker wire, and I don't have to worry about the wire breaking and having to replace it every 30 minutes. Will likely place an order for another Foam Factory product in the future.
