FIDO U2F Security key
This is my first exposure to the FIDO security key so I will pass on what little I know. In my situation, a specific website that I use instituted a requirement for a user to have a second layer of security. The FIDO is by far the easiest method of establishing a layer of security. It is a USB powered device with an internal code hard wired into it. After plugging the FIDO into a USB port and following the simple installation instructions, the FIDO can be removed or it can be left in the USB if desired. The code is entered by pressing an activation button on the FIDO when requested during the setup and with each prompt by the web page it is protecting. There is no need to remember a second password, simple press the button when requested to do so. And please do not ask me what FIDO stands for. I have no clue, but it works.

Can pay more but can't buy better

Can't do without it
It is seemingly well constructed and the ideal tool to use to reach the unreachable when showering.
