Exactly what I was looking for in an outdoor camera
I LOVE this camera! I started with battery powered Arlo cameras (which I still use and they work perfectly), however, I have one location that is really high. Once the batteries die it was difficult to get to the camera to recharge the batteries, so I looked into wired cameras. A friend of mine has a Ring camera and loves it so I wanted to give it a try.
Pros:
Wired - no worries about batteries to be recharged
Motion Detection - this camera has a better motion detection range than the Arlos.
Cons:
This could just be my shotty wifi but when I attempt to go to a live view it's just a black screen. Sometimes it records a black screen, but my research shows this is a wifi issue.
