part breaks all the time

Part is out of stock but I did order one last year and it has broken. This part is for a Ford Focus for years from 2000-2008. It controls the climate control vents and breaks all the time making it extremely difficult to find this part because so many people need the same part! I have just located one in OHIO! Ford should of done a RECALL on this issue, but ignored it because it's not a safety issue. I'm sure the one I get will only last a year if I'm lucky.
