Works but has some Shortcomings

Considering that this amp is very inexpensive it works quite well. It does have some shortcomings however: - The heat sink is just minimal the output chips get quite warm under normal operation. - The RCA input connectors are flimsy and easily bent. - The remote board with controls is very susceptible to RF interference. Touching a pot or wire results in local radio station interference. The cable needs to be shielded or the whole sub board needs a metal container. - There is no documentation included.

Manifold Gas Valve VAL09030 36J54-201

Replacement for 36e54-201 but different shape

My Trane XV 80 furnace's original gas valve was a 36E54-201 which stopped working after about 8 years. That model is no longer being made but the replacement is now a 36J54-201. I was hoping it would be a "direct" swap out but the new valve is a different physical shape so I had to make some minor modifications to the mounting bracket but once installed it works correctly. Hopefully it will last longer than the original.

Good Phone.

I bought this MD71 cordless phone to add to my existing Motorola MD7000 setup which has worked flawlessly for several years. I have found the range and clarity of these phones to be excellent. I have never experienced any interference on them and they have all the features I need especially an excellent hands-free capability. The one weakness of the phones as delivered is that they use a NiCd battery pack which has limited capacity as well as life expectancy. I have replaced all the battery packs with NimH packs which provide much more talk time and last much longer.
