Not good enough to make me switch services
I had been thinking about switching from AT&T to Net10 so i picked up this model to try the service out. The phone itself is nice for a basic handset. The Bluetooth is not restricted like the Samsung SGH-A197 Go Phone i had last year and the camera takes better pictures than the A197. The phone has a low SAR rating and is very lightweight. I was easily able to reactivate the phone at Net10's web site since i did not care about changing the existing phone number. The NEGATIVES are -- I have had numerous dropped calls in places were i know my Go Phone works, figured out the 600G is on T-Mobile by the SIM card number. When i changed the setting to not answer the phone when flipped open the inside screen now shows gibberish instead of who is calling. The LG manual shows call forwarding but it is not in the menu on my phone. I emailed Net10 tech support and they did not answer the question i asked but sent me a link to the manual i already had. The speaker-phone is weak, which i use a lot. Being with AT&T i am accustomed to switching phones which is a simple matter of transferring your SIM card from one phone to another. This is not possible at all with Net10. So for right now i am sticking with my Go Phone.
