Canon G9

This is a great camera. This camera was purchased to be used inside an Ikelite housing for taking photographs underwater. It was chosen because of it is easy to use, which when diving is very important. The photographs when compared to the SLR and the DSLR was have are extremely close in quality. Since taking photographs when diving are a lot different than being above water, I felt that using this unit, would be easier than dealing with a DSLR. It produces great photographs, almost as good as my old Nikonos V, and now I don't run out of film(27 - 28 was max) and I don't worry about wasting film (used to try and save one or two frames) for a great shot, but usually ended up with non-exposed film. Now, that is not an issue. I don't worry about the number of shots as there is no film. Even at 12 megapixels, I don't run out of storage. If you are looking for a great camera to use when diving look closely at the Canon G9 unit. You will not be disappointed either above or below the water.

BLI Big Boy

Like most BLI Models this is a superior model. It has all the features one could want. The ability of the sound decoded to interface with a Rolling Thunder Receiver and Sub Woof is a great feature. I have two receivers and two sub-woofers on the layout and this allows for the sounds to "move" acrross the layout room
