Good product
The banana plugs fit my legacy DVM perfectly. The needle probes I purchased also worked with these cables. I was able to trouble shoot surface mount components with this combination.

Amazing scanner with the companion software
I bought my unit used "as-is". I knew they were built like tanks. Mine powered up but wouldn't feed the paper without pushing on the paper. The pickup rollers are a wear item that Fujitsu recommends replacing every 200,000 sheets. Mine only had 36,000 sheets on the counter. I used a couple of treatments with CaiKleen RBR Liquid, Oiler Dispenser Concentrate 25 mL - RBR100L-25C rubber rejuvenator on the rollers. This fixed the feed problem and it has been running like a champ ever since. I've setup my own custom scan profiles in the ScanSnap Home software. Most documents I scan directly to Evernote. I have the profiles setup to create searchable pdf files, which works well. I have another profile to scan spiral bound books (unbind before feeding of course). This thing processes an amazing amount of paper in a short amount of time. I've been able to digitize a lot of my paper work and de-clutter my life. This is a two-sided page scanner, in that it scans both sides of the paper at the same time, which makes it fast. It might take a little bit to initially get everything setup and configured. You will need the USB cable for initial setup. After you configure the wireless you can disconnect the USB cable. If you have a stack of paper, fan the paper to unstick the edges for better feeding. If you need to scan more than 50 pages into one document, select "Continuous Mode" in the profile, then put in 50 pages at time. The software will then pause in between loading stacks, and will automatically combine all of the stacks into one document. The software has a paper jam sense, so if there is a misfeed it will display the last page it reliably scanned, and it will allow you to feed from where it left off (start with page after the last reliably scanned page). This is a nice feature, in that you don't have to restart the entire document for a misfeed. When not in use, it compactly closes up to a small desktop footprint.

Good old school gaming laptop
While this may be an old school gaming computer, it still has plenty of life in it for the kids to use. This laptop is a beast (heavy) because it is a desktop replacement, so it's not a laptop one would lug around alot.
