Seller cancelled sale did not have speaker. Disappointing, but these things happen. Did promptly refund full price and offered discount in future speaker purchase. A fair seller.

22 Ton Half-Beam Horizontal/Vertical Log Splitter-Dirty Hand Tools
Oct 10, 2017
Disappointment turns out OK
Received this item in a well packaged crate from Irva Tools. Let me say that Irva was great with communication and quick delivery. The issues I have are with the product. After researching many splitters, I decided on the Dirty Hand Tools splitter since it was designed and engineered in the USA. Despite that I have several major problems with the unit. First, after completely assembling the unit, it turns out the cylinder was put together upside down from the factory. I then had to completely disassemble the unit and put it back together. Second, we finally got all fluids loaded and started up the engine (first pull). On the second split test, hydraulic fluid began spraying all over me. After checking all of my connections, I found there was a bad connection from the factory. The only way to tighten this was to completely disassemble the unit (AGAIN!), tighten the factory fitting, and reassemble. Thirdly, you need some items that are not listed in the manual instructions. You will need some sealant for the hydraulic connections that were not made at the factory, and you will also need a flexible funnel to get oil in the engine as the oil fill is very difficult to access. A round trip of an hour to the hardware store resolved this. After spending about 5 hours putting this thing together and fixing the factory defects, I finally got to splitting. This should have only taken an hour at most. The splitter worked great. I was splitting oak logs that were 24-30" in diameter with no problem. I have used the splitter three times and it works flawlessly. I used it in the vertical postion as getting logs this size up on the beam would be difficult with one person. One more thing. The hitch stand is difficult to use , putting it up and down, with one person. The splitter is very heave and getting this on my ATV hitch is super difficult. I ended up getting a trailer jack with wheel which allows me to easily crank it up and down, and wheel it into place to get it on my hitch. I hope to have many years of splitting ahead, but the attention to detail and some other minor design flaws could make this splitter a whole lot better. Overall seems to be heavy duty and will work for my needs, and it seems to be of good value compared to similar models.
