Still in Epson's sealed bag, but not in a box with expiration date. Seems just fine.
The printer ink cartridges arrived a few days earlier than expected, and still in the sealed plastic manufacturer bag. But they were not in the manufacturer's box, which contains an expiration date.
I've begun using the first 233-XL Black cartridge, it prints exactly the same as one directly from Epson.

OEM part, great price, quick delivery.
OEM part. Whole plastic tank, and the absorbent pads inside.
No installation instructions. There's a good video showing the relatively simple process (works for the Epson XP-800, too) on YouTube entitled: Replacement and Reset of Waste Ink Absorber and Counter of Epson XP-750
You'll still need to reset the Epson printer counter, there are several options to be found on the internet, none I've found are free.
FWIW, while waiting for the new tank/pads to arrive, while wearing disposable nitrile gloves I washed the old ink pads in a 2 gallon stainless steel cooking pot with just hot water (it took about four pots-worth to get them reasonably clean), and re-installed them. Then I reset the printer ink tank counter with a free temporary (one-time, partial reset) utility from somewhere on the internet.
