Not the lastest by still a Great processor.
I bought a i5 3330 to run windows server 2012. The cpu has been great. System has 24g of ram and 7tb of combined hd space. I have had no problems running Hyper-V running Win7 and Win8 at same time. Going to load a linux workstation and server next. This is the best Ivy Bridge i5 cpu. Still a little pricey but worth it. This is not a problem with the CPU but make sure the mother board has up to date bios. If I can get a good deal on ebay again, I’ll update another computer.

The right upgrade for an older LGA 1155 motherboard.
3rd gen processor with 65W TDP will run 24/7 with no heat problems in my application. It's great to reuse old tech. Don't forget to check bois support for the processor.
