The drive is fast and great to use regardless of its price and fit issue.

It is one of the most reliable and fast SSD. Since it is a 'Intel' product, the price is comparably higher than other products in the market. Most of the OEM/retail version of 520 series are built with a riser (black plastic square ring) to allow the drive (which is 7mm thickness) to fit in 9mm installation. For people with a slim/lightweight notebook like Lenovo X220 or X230, they may need to take out the riser and find proper shorter screws to tight the protection case back together.

Overall the board is not bad to support older CPU and OS

Originally I thought this board could replace my DG965OT because both board were from Intel. However, there were obvious differences. First, this board missed a paralle port. Second, the onboard NIC was 10/100. I attempted to locate a proper driver for Windows 7 64 bit but failed. Both drivers from Intel and Gateway website supported only 10/100. The NIC chipset only supported 10/100. This board was properly from Gateway for their PC products. This is one of the few boards in the market that comes with small footprint, onboard video, HD sound and 4 memory slots (up to 8GB). The only issue is the board does not fully support Windows 7. Most drivers are up to Vista.
