The book cover is torn and in very poor ...
The book cover is torn and in very poor condition. It is ripped in several places. This is not my expectation for a "Very Good" used book. I would rate this book good.

Caveat emptor.
The item was not shipped on time. It was extremely late. When I contacted the artisan he gave me several excuses concerning why the item was late. The lance is poorly finished. The finish is rough which could be solved by simple sanding after applying the finish. The point looks like plastic but is supposed to be buffalo bone. It may be but it looks cheap.. The lance was supposed to be signed by the artist as per his listing. When I contacted him concerning the signature he said he had been busy with many orders and must have forgot to sign my lance. He said he would try to provide me with a COA and get back with him in a week if I had not heard from him. I want to support local artisans but it is hard when these sort of constant excuses occur.

A difficult but necessary read.
The subject of this book is about the hard choices that must be made when life is about to end. It is timely because medicine has advanced to the point where we can prolong life much longer than the dying necessarily desire. It makes you look at your situation and evaluate what do I want and does any one around me know that. It is aplicable not only our own situation but those we love, parents, grandparents, siblings, even friends. It is a difficult subject to face and talk about but this book is a great starting point.
