Definate improvement over the stock hood prop!!
These hood struts were easy to install and required no drilling or modifications (other than replacing a bolt with a new supplied bolt included in the package). So far they are working great and actually raise the hood by several inches over the stock hood propping devise. Hopefully, these struts will work for many years before needing replacement. Time will tell. It is so nice to have the hood go up by itself though...a definate improvement over Toyota Tacoma's stock hood proping device which is antiquated.

Red Engine Oil Filler Cap
1 of 1 found this helpful The oil filler cap is a very good fit in place of the factory furnished cap and looks quite professional. My only negative comment on this product is that the knurled machining tabs where you place your fingers to install and remove the cap are very sharp. It would have been much better to have a polished finish on these knurls so as not to cut one's fingers.

Nice upgrade for your Tacoma
This steel bed security lock lid was easy to install and gives me another storage area for things I want to keep locked up in my truck. The finished installation has a little play between the locking door and its metal frame, so I installed some metal reinforced black plastic trim ( you just cut the trim to fit the four edges on the door frame) and this stopped the rattling of the door against the frame. It also helps seal out the weather and gives the finished product more of a sense of secureness with the tighter fit. I hope this is helpful. The locking door is a definite, reasonably priced upgrade for my 2017 Tacoma.
