Ratchet was advertised as new (other) in June 2024. However, Snap On date code stamped on the handle is from 2018 and tool was clearly used as the anv

Ratchet was advertised as new (other) in June 2024. However, Snap On date code stamped on the handle is from 2018 and tool was clearly used as the anvil had wear marks due to continual install/removal of 1/2" sockets. But it's not a huge problem as you can just purchase a brand new cover plate and internal ratcheting mechanism from Snap-on for a decent price. Overall, it is still cheaper than buying from the truck.
