Wasn't warned about a mining bios
GPU came in good condition but a bit dusty. You could tell it had been running a lot and hadn't been pulled apart to dust. It works well for about a week, but then I reliazed I was using the card on the "quiet" bios, so I flipped the switch to the performance mode and the card stopped being recognized by the Radeon drivers. I was also getting an Error 43 from Windows telling me the driver/device was defective. Come to find out this card had a bitcoin mining bios flashed on it but the selling didn't tell me this ahead of time. He or she just switched teh bios switch to the backup/quiet bios so the card would work.
If you buy a similar card, look up ATI pixel clock patcher for RX 480. I had to follow the directions on troubleshooting this issue from the Techpowerup forums to fix the bios.
