Manufacturers defect

Everything about the product looked great from the outside but when I tried to play side 1 a huge problem made itself evident. There was a shallow gauge between the last two songs. It was obviously a manufactures fault. I can’t say that this would be a common problem based solely on this example but I can say that I’m finding more than my fair share of problems with some of the “new” remastered pressings in general. Given the price of new vinyl I would think more care would be taken at the production level.
