It's clear it's nearing an upgrade
1 of 1 found this helpful I love this watch. And if I were to have bought it 3 years ago it would have been a marvel. Now, it's just a great watch that is waiting for an upgrade. But the GPS is precise. The heart rate tracking with regular use is accurate, bit it sure gets wonky doing anything intense. I was showing 200bpm when running for almost the entire run. And the strap was snug.
Otherwise, the menu is intuitive and GPS connection is quick. Once you finally get Bluetooth between watch and phone connected, the data transfer works great.
I recommend getting a protective glass shield for the screen.
Anyway, I'm glad I bought it, but $200 is really pushing it when looking at it from a value perspective.

Amazing, the technology we're growing up with
It's hard not to like this thing, Apple fan or not. My brother-in-law bought the iPhone, and since then I've proceeded to having 3 other people buy an iPod Touch 2G. I've been skeptical myself, but there's simply no reason not to get one outside of not wanting to pay $200. But that $200 goes a long way, especially when compared to other similar devices on the market. Great wifi access? Check. Great design? Check. Beautiful screen? Check. Responsive touch control, great games (even the free ones!), great software apps? Check check check.
Now, with toggle volume and slightly thinner profile, as well as the new update allowing you to triangulate using available wifi networks as a pseudo-GPS handheld, this iPod seriously has it all. The only thing missing now is a dedicated GPS, which I'm sure is in the works for the next model.
If you have the slightest interest in technology, or are in the market for a PDA and can't use a camera at your workplace (or just don't mind not having it), then you've found the device for you in this iPod Touch!

If this is your type of game, you'll love it
There are tons of professional game review sites out there to read up on this and any other game, so I'll keep this simple. I bought this as a gift to someone, and they really enjoy the game. If you're a fan of Spider Man, and though the previous games were OK but missing something, you're sure to spend countless hours swinging through the city and fighting enemies, enjoying it more than the previous releases. If you're on the fence, I would strongly recommend renting or borrowing from a friend before making the purchase, as this game isn't for everyone.
