Very good support

I use these sleeves to support my arch, and it takes much longer before my feet hurt. I have custom orthotics, but my walking coach recommended I get support sleeves, too. These are tight and hard to put on, but that's why they do the job. Work them up slowly from the bottom, making sure the heel is in the right place; you won't be able to adjust it once they are on. I use them a few days before washing (by hand usually), and they stretch a bit after the first day, making them easier to get on. I don't have trouble with circulation below the sleeve or swelling above it, but my ankles and feet are relatively thin. I used to have plantar fasciitis, and these sleeves are stiffer (offer more support) than most I have tried, so they would be helpful for that condition, too.

Early elementary history done right

The original American Girl books were so much fun to read! The stories were appropriate for and interested a wide range of ages for both girls and boys. Each set gave a window into a specific period in our history with plenty of authentic details about daily life and events over a year's time. The stories show a likable character growing as she faces challenges and difficult circumstances, but overall the books are upbeat.
