What Were They Thinking?
This game has some decent graphics, a perfectly fine game play system and a good selection of wrestlers. So why is this game pretty shabby? Well because of the simple fact that there is no story mode or mode to capture the championship belts. Instead, you pick a wrestler, get kicked out of the WWE and what proceeds to follow is a bunch of pointless missions that have absolutely nothing to do with wrestling. You'll have to go through a car garage and fight a bunch of random goons, the ocassional WWE superstar and avoid cars. Or you might be atop a construction site where the WWE is building something and proceed to throw the workers and the ocassional WWE superstar off the top of it. It's stupid, pointless, does not involve actual wrestling and all it does is culminate with you facing McMahon in a very simple match. Had this game offered this as an extra mode of play, rather than the only mode (save the standard exhibition match mode), then maybe something good would have come from this game. Also, I notice that ever since the N64 No Mercy game, the create-a-wrestler mode has become very weak - there are less moves, accessories, looks and outfits to choose from. This game is alright if you just want to set up your own match and maybe play with your friends, but it's really quite poor for a wrestling game. If you're looking for a better play, get the Day of Reckining games which followed this release, as they are a much better play.

A Great Game For All Ages
Big Brain Academy is a puzzle themed game that requires you to test your ability to think and think FAST! If you're not into puzzle games, then stay away from this - it's as simple as that. You'll play games that test different areas of thought; from memorization to calculation to analyzation, etc. Each category has 3 different games which test this. The games are fun because they are timed and you want to get as many right in that time period for a higher score and brain grade. You can practice these modes or take the test and be presented with a random game from each category to earn a brain grade. The good thing about the practice mode is that you earn medals for completing each one - bronze to gold. Some people say the replay value isn't that high, but if you strive to get the gold for each difficulty level in each game AND try to earn an A or higher on the test, you'll have plenty of game time on your hands. I think this game is great for children and even adults. The graphics aren't the most spectacular, but given the nature of the game, it's not really an important aspect - same can be said for sound. This game is played with the stylus and really shows why the unique dual touch screen of the DS is fun and offers a better play than the PSP really can. Not to mention, this game retails at only 19.99, so you can really get a great deal on it. There is also a versus mode where people can play head to head and try to out-best one another in the games. I also enjoy this game because you can pick it up whenever without having to worry about wondering where you left off. Also, it's a great game to be able to pick up for 15 or so minutes a day. I highly recommend that any puzzle game fans check this out. Even if you're just a fan of games such as Tetris or classics like Dr. Mario, this game will probably keep you busy. An all around great game.

It's an alright play, but it needs more....
I found this game to be a combination of other first person shooter games, but with a different cast of characters. Mainly, it seemed like a combination of Goldeneye and Wolfenstein 3D. The entire game had a James Bond feel to it and then, suddenly, the plot takes a huge jump and twists itself into the story behind Wolfenstein 3D. Suddenly, the main enemy is after a God-like power....so I was sort of disappointed in the plot of the game. The graphics were alright, some of the character models were a little cartoony and poorly done, but the scenes, background, weapons - they all looked good. The music was alright, but I definitely suggest turning it down or you'll strain yourself to hear the characters voices...which, you might not want to hear anyway, because they're all rather annoying. The voice acting clearly wasn't a focal point for this game. The controls were easy to use, mainly because every first person shooter adopts the same sort of controls. Anyone can learn the controls within moments. The game was also pretty short; it could have been beefed up way more. The replay value is fairly high, though, because you can have fun doing battle with one another. Playing online or with friends is fun and the options are pretty good. Solo mode, though, much doesn't change with the different levels of difficulty. One thing that was really obnoxious was how the AI moved. Over half of the enemies would shuffle back and forth and slide from side to side, making them a real pain to target and hit - I understand we're going for the element of realism, but I don't think soldiers would move like that in a shoot-out. I strongly feel that this game could have been beefed up in all areas. It's fun to play, but I think many will agree that more needs to be offered to make this title a hit for the 360.
