Psycho children wearing cellulloid masks, its different
I originally bought this movie over a year ago when it was released on DVD, but unfortunately a few weeks ago my DVD was scratched when I accidentally dropped my disk on the ground must have scraped across the radio near where it fell because after that happened it does not play right in my machine anymore. So I bought a replacement off Ebay and this movie for me is definitely worth the money, the movie is about a dysfunctional American family, Molly, Jessica and Jerry Monohan, Jerrys girlfriend Annette Rothman and Jessicas British boyfriend Robin who is just along for the ride. After the opening sequence which takes place 14 years earlier, the movie continues at some bus drop off point where the family is visiting the Irish countryside on what appears to be a kind of bonding trip, the father Jerry wants his teenage daughters Molly and Jessica to get to know his new girlfriend, Annette. As they are planning on taking a bus to the city they lose track of time and miss there ride, so they have to continue there trip on foot, as they manage to get lost in the Irish countryside. The group before long accidentally stumbles onto a village filled with deformed and bloodthirsty mutant children wearing celluliod masks, as one member of the group after another begins to die at the hands of the children its a fight to the finish to see who will survive Plague Town! The opening sequence starts out 14 years before the present, and it helps a great deal to explain the history of the town and the beginning of the so called Plague that will follow! My favorite scene in the movie is when Sheila, Rosemarys grandmother presents a very wounded Robin to Rosemary her granddaughter, as she slowly emerges out of the darkness to appear from the shadows, then proceeds to sit next to him, then she slowly turns her head to look at him with those Celluliod Eyes, definitely creepy and intense! Rosemary is the girl who appears on the cover artwork of the DVD jacket, she also appears to be the ringleader of these deformed children, my only regret is the ending it could have been better. There should be a Trailer on this page if you need more to go on. I hope this review helped you out.

Canoe and camping trip gone wrong
Picturesque view of the Canadian wilderness, never thought a canoe and camping trip could be so fun and deadly all at once! I bought this movie because it was listed in the DVD horror section on Ebay, and for myself being a horror film junkie I purchased it, and all I can tell you is this movie is anything else but horror, it is basically a situational movie which is more like an intense drama with a touch of adventure added to it that better describes this film. The movie is about four 14 year old girls who bond a friendship together at summercamp as they trek through the lush green landscape with their male guide Jonah who is also big brother to Stephannie one of the four girls, later sexual tension sets in between Morgan and Jonah where they soon confront a disaster which leaves their guide dead, and with a desperate attempt to return back to civilization they have to work together if they want to survive. A change of pace from what I usually watch, and although the movie is not a horror flick in my opinion I have no regrets about my purchase, this was an exceptional movie. The genre of the film is similar to White Water Summer (1987) and Cast Away (2000).

Hannibal Lecter, move over - The Figure will give you a run for your money.
An edge of your seat thriller. I didn't know the movie was released in 2002. I thought it was newer, maybe 2006; my mistake. The movie unveils itself like an episode out of the X-Files series, and what's more interesting is that Julia Gates (Sharisse Baker-Bernard) and Kyle McShinsky (Michael Worth) are both FBI agents. Similarity or not; go figure? I don't know who is more intimidating, Hannibal Lecter or this guy known as The Figure (Yan Birch). Either way I don't want to confront either of them. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who is obsessed with films involving serial killers.
