MINT B+W 72mm 010 UV Clear Protective Filter - Free Shipping!

hard to understand

I put this filter on my new Sony lens as soon as I got the lens. The filter appeared totally clean and distortion free. The pictures I got were so blurry as to be unusable. I then tried without the filter and was treated to the very sharp images I expected. I tried cleaning the filter with Zeiss alcohol wipes to no avail. I then used a lens cloth and breath vapor and wiped the filter vigorously. What a transformation. Images as good as without the filter. Hard to understand. Now I would give the filter 5 stars.
