I have been on eBay since 2003. I will be selling Matchbox/ Lledo & Marklin items that I have collected over the past 50+ years. Most are mint or near mint, but many of the boxes are shelf worn and not in the greatest condition. Only items in sealed packaging will be considered 'new'. Items in boxes that can be opened will be listed as 'used'.

The German crocodile
Another wonderful piece of Marklin artistry, this class E94 freight locomotive (later class 194)- catalog number 3022 was produced from 1964 to 1981 in 6 different variations. They are heavy die-cast metal, durable & able to pull many freight cars with no problem. They can draw power from the track or from the overhead catenary system. Care should be taken, as with all locos with pantographs, so as not to bend them. No layout should be without one.

another strong 2-10-0
Locomotive is quite durable and robust- again Marklin quality prevails. Boiler/ cab is cast metal while some trim parts are plastic. This is not a child's toy- care must be taken so as not to break the front lanterns or the steps on the tender. Occasionally, the side windows on the cab tend to pop out and need a dab of glue to hold them in place.
I just installed a 7226 smoke unit. It is very entertaining to watch this beautiful 2-10-0 smoke it moves around the track. One cannot get much more realistic w/o going digital, but this is a fantastic analog item

Austrian electric locomotive
Durable- absolutely- as are all Marklin locomotives! It is entertaining, as it can run from the pick-up shoe underneath or, with the flick of a lever, from the pantographs on the roof. I recommend anything Marklin as they are all made to high quality standards!
